I still collect stamps, so I buy the new issues for my own collection. I also use new commemoratives on mail to my customers when I fill an order.

I picked up a sheet of the Go Green stamps from the post office. I was not impressed. I think the stamp designs are poorly done, almost amateurish. I guess I’m biased towards older engraved stamps where all of the intricacies come out in the stamps. The colors were drab and uninspiring. This issue is a dud in my opinion.

I also picked up a sheet of the new Civil War stamps. Homerun! I really like these designs and I like the layout of this miniature sheet.

More Civil War type issues and less Go Green issues is my vote!
